My so called life*

It was just one of those crazy little stories buried in the morning paper. “News of the Weird,” as it’s sometimes known, true stories about real life events so unlikely and ridiculous that they attain a kind of absurd magnificence in the retelling. “Cult film sparked hunt for a fortune,” was the small headline that attracted my attention that morning back in December 2001. “A Japanese woman searched a remote area of America during a quest to find a briefcase containing almost $1m buried by a fictional character in the cult film Fargo.”

According to the article, a 28-year-old woman had left Tokyo a month earlier to travel to North Dakota, in America’s midwest. The police were called after she was spotted wandering around the outskirts of the state capital, Bismarck. When officers interviewed the woman, she showed them a “crude map” that was supposed to show the location where the money was hidden in the movie. A perplexed spokesman for the Bismarck police was quoted saying: “We tried to explain to her that it was a fictional movie, and there really wasn’t any treasure.”

Currently, because it is only ten or so days from the revealing of the expansion content at Blizzcon, I have decided to release what is PLANNED to be in the expansion. Enjoy. If you do not believe any of this, wait until October 29th and see most of this actually proven.

The “Burning Crusade”

Illidan has gone insane, and already the alliance between the Draenei, Naga, and Blood Elves has began to crumble. The Naga once again wish to return to the sea, and the Blood Elves’ hunger for demonic energies increases day by day… Illidan was tortured by Kil’jaeden after he failed to defeat Arthas – but finally, Kil’jaeden saw another task for Illidan. One that, if he failed, he would be sent into the twisted nether to be consumed by demons… Kil’jaeden then told him everything that had happened since his defeat.

As unexpected as it was, Illidan returned to his three allies and told them of this new plan to destroy not only the Scourge, but all other enemies that would ever oppose them.

Threadless?

The game takes the lines of an argument. Whomever is elected to go first, simply says “It’s your fault” to start the game. From this point, each new turn must creatively fictionalize a reason why it is in fact, NOT your fault, and pass the blame. The game continues forever, or until one player gives up, or breaks a rule.
